Examination:  Applications automatically proceed to substantive examination and no additional fees are payable. The Patent office may reject the application if it is based on a PCT application and has not been amended in light of novelty and inventiveness objections raised by the PCT examiner, or if unpatentable subject matter is claimed.  We therefore suggest that the claims be amended at the time of filing or within one month thereof

Voluntary amendments must be filed within 1 month of the filing date
