About Inge Swanepoel

Inge is a candidate attorney in the trade mark department and focuses on trade mark prosecution, trade mark searches, copyright, and the commercialisation of Intellectual Property.

She has a great interest in the integration of Intellectual Property into various facets of life as well as the actualisation of Intellectual Property rights.

As a musician, Inge’s daily experience with music since the age of five led to a great love for and understanding of music, and consequently a passion for Copyright protection. Furthermore, her background in biology and psychology sparked an interest in the legal considerations surrounding bioethics. This inspired her to write her final year LLB dissertation on the bioethics concerning the commercialisation of Intellectual Property in the form of vaccines during the COVID19 pandemic. Her love for people and problem solving, led to her pursuance in this career centred around finding legal solutions for clients’ needs.
