She received her LLM from the University of Cape Town, focusing on intellectual property law, electronic intellectual property law and electronic transactions law. Her LLM research tasks focused on the identification of intellectual property rights (IPRs) in a business context, enforcement of IPRs with competition law aspects, new technologies (AI and NFTs) and their intellectual property law implications and cyber law, including domain name disputes, smart contracts, POPIA, CPA, etc.
She has an interest in emerging technologies and their intellectual property law implications as well as the commercialization of Intellectual Property. Her interests outside of law involve trading financial markets, entrepreneurship, anime and gaming.
