About Hennie Louw

Hennie is a qualified South African patent attorney and has worked in the field of intellectual property since 2017. He also spent a year abroad as an overseas-qualified attorney at a well-established Australian IP firm, where he gained valuable experience navigating foreign patent systems and international practice.

He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pretoria and a Law degree from the University of South Africa.

Hennie advises clients on the patentability of inventions and specialises in the drafting, filing, and prosecution of both patent and design applications. He has further assisted many clients with legal opinions relating to the validity and infringement of patents and registered designs.
