Von Seidels gives 67 South African start-ups a 67% discount on trademarks

Von Seidels is happy to once again be a sponsor of this year’s 67 Logos Designathon hosted by CWDi for Mandela Day.

“Taking place on Mandela Day, 18 July 2019, 67 designers will come together in Johannesburg and Cape Town to design 67 logos for 67 small businesses – all in one day.” – CWDi.

Designers are donating their time and skills voluntarily and Von Seidels is happy to pledge our legal expertise and services. We are giving each of the 67 small businesses and the 67 designers a free professional trade mark search and a 67% discount on the legal fees to register their trade marks.

On 18 July, Designers and Businesses will meet for the first time at the Designathon – and the fun begins! Designers will have 3 hours to execute on their brief while business owners attend an impactful Skills Development workshop. Von Seidels will be giving an introduction on important intellectual property aspects for these small businesses to keep in mind.
