A trade mark attorney with a degree in commerce.
Currently working in the litigation team, Lana is involved mainly in trade mark enforcement matters ranging from infringement to opposition in various African countries, as well as copyright and domain name matters. She also works with both local and foreign trade mark prosecution and searches.
Lana obtained business and law degrees from the University of Stellenbosch, where she developed a keen interest in intellectual property and internet law.
She lived most of her life in Europe and South East Asia which has allowed her to culminate an international vision. She acknowledges that protection and development of intellectual property can help foster growth across borders.
She has a focused and detail-oriented personality and a passion for the field of intellectual property law, which enables her dedication to her work.
