Oswald’s practice includes the preparation and prosecution of IP applications in Africa, and in particular OAPI, ARIPO and South Africa. Oswald has experience in all areas of patent and design law, including prosecution, opinions, licensing and counselling. His practice encompasses a wide array of technological areas, including mechanical devices, medical instruments and processes, lubricants, computer hardware and software, and business methods.

Oswald is from Cameroon and is fluent in both English and French. He is the director at our OAPI office in Cameroon and can assist both South African and international companies in securing IP rights in French West Africa and strategically advise on the best options to ensure that their IP is protected.

In addition to being a South African patent attorney, Oswald is also a qualified Cameroonian attorney and an Accredited IP Attorney (Mandataire Agréé) before OAPI.
